In error, I made a copy of my printer software so it now
shows 2 icons in my task bar. I want to delete one of
them and can't figure out how. I right click on the task
bar and go to properties and it comes up task bar and
start menu properties. But it doesn't have a button to
delete an icon. How do I go about doing that? I just
want to delete the copy.

Maria, as a non-technical person, I find the icon removal
instructions I have found in this forum a bit too much.
You may just want to settle for hiding the printer icon.
Forever.

Right-click on an empty spot in the task bar.

Select Properties

Click on Customize

Click on the unwanted icon, and use the drop down menu to
select "Always Hide."

Bye Bye Icon.
