Windows XP SP2 "Installation Unsuccessful"

Hi,
I tried to install SP2 for Windows XP but it got
cancelled. Now when I try to install it I get an error
message saying installation unsuccessful. Does anyone
know how I can successfully install it? Thanks!

Alicia,

you could try to obtain a complete Service Pack 2 either by
downloading the network install file or by ordering the CD from
Microsoft.

The other question is whether AutoUpdate is now not working
properly. The http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com/ web site has
some useful support information for that case.
