Hello, Is there a way to download all the windows Updates after XP SP1 To
the hard drive for manual install incase everything needs to be re-installed
again, so then I Can have a copy of all the windows Updates on a cd to
install all the patches to windows xp sp1....

I think all these are available as downloadable options, but I doubt they
are all in one place. You may have to hunt roung for them on the microsoft
website.

You can get the critical ones - at Windows Update, take the Windows
Update Catalog on the left; then Operating systems, select XP SP1 and
you get a list to select and add to the download basket ( to save and
put on a CD if needed).

For Non critical ones, the only approach I know is to have Temporary
internet files cleared (for convenience) when you go to get them, then
after downloading, and before closing IE or rebooting, copy the
downloaded .exe out of Temp Internet to a place of safety
