Windows XP slowed to a crawl

Hi! I'm having a lot of trouble with my computer which
has now slowed to a crawl. I recently installed
broadband, but it's still as slow as ever. I have 120Gb
of memory with plenty of free space left. I phoned AOL
about this and they said it may be something to do with
Adware/Spyware? I have tried System Restore, but not much
good. Can anyone suggest anything?

The problem may very well be due to Spyware. It's a huge
problem for people that click in bad places on the net.
You should download a free copy of Ad-Aware or Spybot
Search and Destroy, scan your system, and then quarantine
what it finds. You can download Ad-Aware at
www.lavasoftusa.com. Be sure and click on Check for
updates before each new day that you scan your system as
new updates are posted often. Repeatedly scan your
system until it finds zero items. If you have questions
or difficulties getting rid of the Spyware, you can get
help through their forums at www.lavasoftsupport.com

download adaware it'll remove all the ad crap, then
download spyware blaster, they should fix it, there both
limited freeware but they do the job nicely
