Windows XP Shuts Down

I am running WinXP Pro and it boots fine to the desktop.
When I try to run any program after that it automatically reboots shortly
after the program starts. It happens with all programs, any suggestions?
 
Adding Info:
I tried to boot into Safe mode now it hangs and I can't boot into anything.
It hangs during normal boot and Safemode boot at adp440.sys
