Every time I boot or reboot my PC, and occasionally when trying to Install
Games or Applications I get the following message in a Grey Box:
__________________________________________________________________

Windows XP Setup
__________________________________________________________________

( i )
\/ Please go to the Control Panel to install and configure system
components.

[OK]
__________________________________________________________________

I've looked at everything in the control panel about 4 times now and can see
nothing that requires setting up. All of my Games and Applications function
OK most of the time except Pinnacle Instant Write sometimes plays up on DVD's

I have XP Home Ed and SP2

Could anyone point me in the right direction and let me know what I may need
to install or configure?

It is telling you there are additional components, somewhere under one of
the Windows Components dialogs, an additional component is needed to be
installed for this software to work properly - which, I don't know, as
you've just said "Games or Applications" which covers a broad spectrum of
possibilities.
