Windows XP, service pack 2

I cannot install the service pack 2 on my XP prof
edition. It says "Access denied" halfway throught the
installation. It downloads everything fine, but stops
installing half way through.

Robin:
I have exactly the same problem. Tried it twice to no
avail. Found suggestion to create new user with admin.
privileges ...havn't tried this yet. If you find a fix
please post.

Most likely a registry access issue...
