windows xp security center suggestion

Here are some suggestions that I hope someone can pass onto microsoft
regarding the windows xp sp2 security center:

-There should be a built in wi-fi security checker. The security checker
should check to see if the wi-fi(802.11a,802.11b,802.11g) connection has WPA
or WPA2 protection enabled. Because all wireless routers do not have this
enabled by default and there are people out there that have no protection on
their wireless networks at all. It should also check if AES encryption has
been enabled on the wireless network card or wireless usb network card
because they don't have encryption enabled by default.

-Also the windows firewall should support blocking outgoing traffic aswell
as it doesn't have this feature currently.

Can someone pass this message onto microsoft please?

Thanks

Sorry to disagree - but...

People do NOT need to think even less about things than they already do.

Microsoft should not have to worry more about all the third party crap
people install/don't do to make their own systems less secure.
Microsoft does not need to be involved more in third party crud - further
over-extended their reach and leaving other basic products behind the curve
even farther.

Now if the software drivers/applications for the third-party network
cards/etc want to add things like you state for their own products -
FANTASTIC - more power to them.. They should support their product and
inform the consumer properly about the dangers and preventative measures
they can take to secure themselves.

As for the last - sure - the WIndows Firewall could notify you of attempts
to access the Internet by applications running on your desktop - although
most people will just click 'ok' anyway.
