Windows XP Runtime error at log on

Recently I have begun receiving the error:

Runtime error 5 at 0000464B when I log into Windows XP.
Don't know why and can't seem to fix. Any thoughts? If
it is helpful, I am also currently dealing with what I
think is some kind of spyware that is hijacking my IE home
page.

Here is a couple of links to applications that will help you remove the
hijacking software.

Spybot Search & Destroy from www.security.kolla.de

Ad-aware from www.lavasoftusa.com.

Ken,

Thanks for your response. I do use Spybot right now and
my current hijacking problem is the first one I have not
been able to solve using Spybot.

I assume from your post that there is no easy answer
regarding the runtime error?
