Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library Runtime Error!

I am running Windows XP Media Center Edition Version 2002 Service Pack 2 on a
Compaq Presario SR2038X. Recently, when leaving my system powered on and
unused for a few hours, I come back to find an error window has popped up.
It is labelled Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library. The Error says:
Runtime Error!

Program: C:\Prog...

R6016
-not enough space for thread data

Would appreciate advice on how to fix

Look in the Event Viewer for an error message. It may give a clue as to
which application or other process caused this error. There is also a VC++
library for 2008 that is sometimes used.

However this is almost certainly not the reason you are getting the error
message now.
