Windows XP restarts after logon screen & keeps rebooting

Windows XP restarts after logon screen & keeps rebooting.
I tried t ofollow to KB articles 310396 and 307545 and
now I can not logon to the Recovery console!!!!!! I have
been trying to resolve this for 3 days, HELP!
