windows xp repair some error appear

I used to repair my windows xp OS.but some big problem appear on my
screen..Windows dialog says that The Procedure Entry Point
InternetSecurityInfoByUrlw could not be located in the dynamic link library
WININET.dll.i got big trouble all my programs error when i try to open them
all...i cannot access any of my programs or installed software....it always
appear this error.... The Procedure Entry Point InternetSecurityInfoByUrlw
could not be located in the dynamic link library WININET.dll....can you help
me pls on how to fix this big problem of mine...im waiting for your reply

Hello,

It looks like the repair replace the WININET.DLL with an older version. It
is located in WINDOWS\SYSTEM32

I would try obtaining an updated WININET.DLL from another updated machine
and replacing XP's one with it.

Download and reinstall Internet Explorer 7.
