Windows XP Recycle Bin Logo

There is no recycle bin icon on my desktop and I have not
found a way to access the bin. I do not want to reload
the program and start over on updates. Windows XP .
I would appreciate help.

Right-click on your Desktop and select:
Properties > Desktop > Customize Desktop
and restore your Recycle Bin icon.

Double click on My Computer, Click on the down arrow at the right of the
Address bar and select Recycle Bin.
