Windows XP Professional Will Not Boot

This problem began after I installed Adobe Professional 6.
My laptop will no longer complete its initial boot. It
usually hangs immediately upon start and at times I can
make it to (but not past) the Safe Mode screen. Can anyone
help?

If you can't get into Safe Mode to do a System Restore, then try doing a
Repair Install.
