Windows XP professional LAN problem

I have a wired LAN with 2 PC's on it and one lap top the two PC's can ping
view, share information and ping each other no problems. They cannot Ping the
laptop, the laptop however can ping the two PC's but also cannot ping itself.
All the Machines are using XP Pro with Service Pack 2

Check the laptop whether enable the IP policy in the "Local Security Policy"

Thank you yuanlang have checked local security policies and the three
machines I speak of have the same local security policies.

When a computer can't ping itself, the problem is probably a
misconfigured or improperly installed firewall on that computer.

If you've installed a firewall program (ZoneAlarm, Norton, McAfee,
PC-cillin, Sygate, etc) on that computer, make sure that SP2's
built-in Windows Firewall is disabled. Running more than one firewall
can cause problems.

If the problem still occurs with Windows Firewall disabled, un-install
(don't just disable) any other firewall program. Then, go to Start |
Run | Msconfig | Startup and disable any remnants of the firewall
program.

Don't re-install the firewall program until everything is working.
Then, configure it to allow access on the local area network.
