I just bought a brand new HP Pavilion which came with XP
Home Edition. Bought Professional. It goes through a lot
of the setup, but while installing it, it says there is a
syntax error in manifest or policy file "K:\I386\asms\1000
\MSFT\Windows\GDIPLUS.man" on line 4. It also says that
the installation failed and the error message is: Data
error (cyclic redundancy check).

I cannot get out of the setup, it just keeps restarting
and attempting to continue the installation, but the same
problem happens every time. Please help!
