I am in the process of switching an existing peer to peer network to a
dedicated server using dual processing power, Raid, and SCSI. Since I am more
of a hardware person, I don't know as much about server OS's. I do know WinXP
is limited to 10 clients, which is okay since this will not be an issue. Can
Windows XP Professional be used to setup and operate a dedicated server or
should I stick with a server OS like Win 2000?

thanks,
pjg

Event XP allows 10 connections, it is better to have a windows server. XP as "server" is still peer to peer network.
