Windows xp will not start up after a power failure, and I
need to start fromm my floppy A drive to get windows
running again. I am stuck in BIOS land and cannot get
out! Is there a simple way to create a windows xp pro
start up disk using step by step instructions? Any help
is greatly appreciated!!!

This may be a long shot, but do you know if your hard
drive is good? Just because it can be seen in Setup or
when the system boots up does not necessarily mean that
the drive is good. Also, depending on the manufacturer,
you may have to use another system, check the mfg's
website for current BIOS flash software, download it to a
floppy and flash the BIOS of the system that is giving you
the trouble. Just trying to help out here.
