Windows XP Pro, Multiuser account SHutdown problem.

I have a P4 2.4 WinXP 512 Mb RAM and 40GB HDD PC , with two user accounts, 1
is administrator and other is restricted user.
Whenever the user (other then Administrator) logs in on the PC and shuts it
down, the PC on nxt startup/boootup comes up with SCANDISK (Checkdisc) screen
stating The PC was not shut down properly your Disk needs to be checked up
for Consistency.."
But if the Administrator logs in and shuts down it doesn't pose any problem.

One more thing to clarify..At one time only one user uses the PC.
Can anyone tell me the solution for this problem.?

Thanks in anticipation

Several fixes in no particular order.

Run the hive cleanup utility shown below.

Another fix,
1. click on your start menu and open the run menu
2. type "cmd"
3. type "fsutil dirty query C:" in cmd window
4. If the return message indicates that the volume is dirty go to step 5
5. type "chkdsk C: /f "
6. reboot

Dear Mr. Glen P

Thank you..

I tried the Hive cleanup service as *SUggested by you** and it seems it is
working..-Though it is too early to say that, because I installed Hive
Cleanup yester night only, and after that I havn't seen the CHKDSK screen..

Thank you again..
