Windows XP Pro File sharing

I have a Windows XP Pro computer that I am sharing a folder on for access
from my LAN. I only want specific computers/users to access this folder
across the network. XP Doesn't seem to allow me setup network users, or just
simply password protect the folder. Any ideas???

With XP Pro, disable Simple File Sharing. Then you have to add a local account
for each user that you want to give access to.

Disable simple file sharing and set up permissions for users on the
local computer. Those permissions will also apply to the
corresponding users on other computers. Full details here:
