Does anybody know where windows xp pro stores workgroup and/or domain names?
I messed up by changing from a domain to a workgroup and need to hopefully
get back to the domain!!!

Thanks for any help!!
Cliff

You can't re-connect to the domain until you physically connect your
computer to the domain network again. Now that you've removed it from the
domain you are out of luck.

I am not sure if I misunderstood, but you could simply rejoin the
domain, at any time.

Not unless the computer is connected to the domain, he can't. The user has
disjoined the domain and instead is logging onto a workgroup and you can't
reverse that process without being physically connected to the domain.
