I am currently Activating my Windows XP Pro, I have the Product Key
already but I just need a Confirmation ID - is there ANY way I can get
one on the Internet?

Never heard of such a thing.

Its when you activate your product key [or] change it. Once you have
typed your product key, you are supposed to call microsoft, and they
provide you with a confirmation ID - but I want to know If theres any
other way I can get it through the Internet.

If you cannot activate your windows xp by internet, click on telephone
activting, and call the phone number for your area, with the numbers your
computer generates. After you give this, you will be put on hold, until a
person comes online and gives you another group of numbers. This will
activate your windows xp.

No there is no other way, but to call!

Is there any other way to do it? because I got my product key from a
generator, so its not an original one, and I do not have the original
copy of windows XP, could that be a problem?

Yes.

To put it bluntly, you're ****ed.

Then if you got it that way, it is not a legal copy. You are going to have
to go buy a true windows xp version from a retail store, either online, or at
a computer store.

Yes, it'll be a problem. You actually have to have a legitimate license.

Lol, you have a false product key and you're posting a question in an MS
newsgroup asking for help in how to bypass product activation? That's not
very fashionable you know. You're not serious are you? Purchase a
legitimate copy of XP.
