I have two computer running windows xp pro one with a share. Other computers can access the share fine, but for some reason this computer just gets an access denied message everytime I try to access the share. Forced Guest login is set to 0 in the registry on the share computer so I know it's not that. The connecting computer has no password as the login so I set the option "Accounts: Limit local account use of blank passwords to console logon only" set to disabled. I even tried setting a password for the connnecting machine and still I get the access denied message. It looks like it's caching its logon info or some option is forcing it to always login as guest (the machine can in fact access the share when I enable Gust NTFS permissions on the share). Whenever I look at the session info on the share machine I see the computer connected as guest with 0 files open, meaning I am able to open the computer, but not the share folder. All I want is the login screen to pop up so I may enter a valid username and password. Anyone have an idea?
Thanks.
Thanks.
