Windows XP pro and xp home on lan NG

I have a working LAN with internet acces, and all files and folders that are
shared are visible. I cannot access the files on the Pro computer from the
HOme, but I can go from Pro to home. I have tried everything I can to correct
this but have not been successful. I tried changing permissions, firewall
settings, enabled and disabled simple file sharing, but nothing has changed
the situation. Has anyone successfully networked an XP PRO machine with XP
HOME?
