Windows XP Pro and Windoes Media Center 2005 Edition

I just got a new Dell laptop with Windows XP Professional Edition installed.
I was told it also has Windows XP Media Center 2005 Edition, but I couldn't
find it anywhere, I assume these are two different operating systems and you
can have one or another, but not both. is this correct?

They are two different Operating systems. MCE is a superset of XP Pro. If
you still have your documentation stating that you paid for MCE, demand a
replacement from Dell.
