Windows XP PC Restarting Upon Monitor Off After Screensaver?

Hello:

Can someone help me? My computer is restarting when it reaches the "monitor
off" mode from the Power Scheme settings after my screen saver has run for
awhile. This happens every time. I recently un installed my HP printer
software and ended up having to install Windows Runtime 1.1 and then I had to
resintall my video card driver because it was corrupt.

power schemes are
usually set to engage
when the computer
is idling.

however, such programs
like screensavers and
others activate when
the computer idles,

thus your computer
doesn't really idle long
enough to initiate the
power scheme you set
up.

therefore, you might want
to disable the screensaver,

then monitor your power
scheme performance.
