Windows XP only seeing 32GB of my 160GB drive

Hi. I'm trying install Windows XP Home Edition on a new 160GB drive
but it seems that Windows is only recognizing the drive as a 32GB HD.
If I choose to continue with a 32GB partition it brings me to the
screen where I can select NTFS or FAT. For kicks I chose NTFS and
went through the installation and once XP was up and running it was
still reporting the drive as 32GB only.
Is there something obvious I should check so that I might be able to
use the other 80% of my hard disk?

The HD is a Samsung 1604N drive. My motherboard is a DFI NforceII
board, fairly new.

Thanks, Shawn

First, your motherboard's BIOS must be capable of supporting drives larger
than 137Gb

Second, if the above is true, then you must install SP1 and turn on 48-bit
LBA to get XP to see the larger drive.
