Unfortunately, you haven't provided enough information to get a specific
answer. When you say "doesn't display all the color", do you mean your
display is definitely in lower colors, like 256 colors? Did you always
have this problem? If not, what changed? The problem could be caused by
your videocard or your monitor - I can't tell which because you didn't
give enough information.
First, try and update your videocard drivers by going to the device
mftr.'s website. Don't use drivers from Windows Update. To find out
what videocard you have, either consult the documentation that came
with your computer or go to the Device Manager from the System applet
in Control Panel and look under Display for the name of the card and
mftr.
If updating drivers doesn't work, then it will be a process of a)
attaching your computer to another, known-working monitor; b) swapping
out the videocard for a different, known-working one. If you are
uncomfortable doing this sort of troubleshooting, take the machine to a
good local computer repair shop (not a BestBuy or CompUSA type of
store) and have them do the work.
