Windows XP Media Player "calling home"?

I have a fresh install of Windows XP pro.

I have installed all the updates available.

There is no 3rd party software.

When I go on line through my LAN, my network tools find that something on
this computer is trying to go to 65.200.201.xxx.

I am thinking it has something to do with Windows Media Player, but I'm not
sure. I did some research that points to someone called Akamai.

Does anybody else run into this?

Any thoughts? Anyone?

Thanks,
Craig

Probably checking for any available updates for WMP
or updating the Help file database.
