Windows XP Logging On to Nework/Domain

Hi!
I noticed that everytime I Log-on to our Network/Domain,
it took 5-15 minutes before my windows xp can finish
logging-on to our network/domain. Is there a problem with
my windows XP or this is just how it behaves?
Need Help thanks...
 
Hi,

Does your Xp client point to your ISP for DNS? If so this could be causing
the delay as the client is trying to find your internal DNS records for the
domain. The client DNS settings should point to a internal DNS server with
the domain records.
