Dear all

If i am using invalid license number windows XP, could i just buy license number from Microsoft? Or Do i must to buy Box set Windows on market, and reinstall it again? Because i don't want to reinstall windows, so i want to know how to reset the license key. Thanks

In order to resolve your non-genuine licensing issue, please visit: www.microsoft.com/genuine and click on "Validate Windows". When validation fails, click on the Get Genuine button which will provide information on how to acquire a WGA Kit.

There is a mechanism that allows you to pay for a new licence but does not require a re-install to enter the new licence. You will have to activate windows again once the new Licence is entered, and of course have a credit card ready.
