Windows XP Laptop Power Options on Virtual Machines

Hello,

I am trying to set up a virtual machine for deployment to laptops. I
want to pre-set various power options, like lid close behavior, before
deployment. Unfortunately those options do not show up in the VM. Is
there any way to force-add them, and also, if I don't, will they show
up on the laptops post-deployment?

You realize that unless the laptops have the same hardware as is emulated in
the VM, it will likely not even boot after deployment? The virtualpc group
would be a better place for your question.

Thank you for your suggestion. I am using a third-party imaging
utility which works quite well in allowing the deployment of a VM to
physical machines. I will try the Virtual PC group.

Does anyone have any suggestions which would answer the question I
asked?
