Windows XP Language

Hi, I have recently bought a pc with Windows XP already installed on it. The
trouble is that the install windows XP version is on spanish. I have the
windows xp in english cd. I want to know how to install the engliosh version.
I dont want the spanish version. Do i have to unistall spanish version and
then install the englsih version or can i just install the language files?
please help! Thanks

Nope.. you have to uninstall the Spanish version in it's entirety, then
install the English version..

You cannot upgrade or convert from one language version of the OS to
another, so you'll have to use the full version of WinXP (in whatever
language you want) to perform a clean installation.

Simply boot from the English WinXP installation CD. You'll be
offered the opportunity to delete, create, and format partitions as part
of the installation process. (You may need to re-arrange the order of
boot devices in the PC's BIOS to boot from the CD.)
