Windows XP in Dutch instead of English

Hi,

Can someone please help??

My friend who is living in Amsterdam just bought a new laptop but it has the
Dutch version of Windows XP what is the easiest way to get the English
version???
Is it possible to get a swap or would she have to buy all the software in
English???

All advice appreciated,

You cannot upgrade or convert from one language version of the OS to
another, so you'll have to purchase and use the full version of WinXP
(in whatever language you want) to perform a clean installation.

Recommend a retail version of XP in English. She could create a
dual-boot system with both the Dutch and English versions.

I don't know to what extent you perceive the language version to be. It
could be less than what you think it is. If it is truly a Dutch version,
then your options are limited. If it's nothing more than a language setting
within XP, the change can be pretty basic. If you haven't already, take a
look at the basic settings first. Go to Control Panel then Regional and
Language Options and check all of the options to make sure it's not a simple
Dutch setting than can be changed to Enlish.
