Windows will not shut down I get a message saying
Type32.exe is not responding. If I shut it down or let
it time-out the result is the same - Windows will not
shut down. When this happens (every time I try to shut
down), I also can't log off or switch users.

This started happening a few days ago. There were to
changes to hardware or software.

Any and all help will be appreciated. Please respond to
my E-mail.

Uninstall, then reinstall the Intellitype software for your Microsoft
keyboard.

Don:
I have the same problem. It started when I bought the
new MS Wireless Elite Keyboard two weeks ago. Now
type32.exe stops responding several times a week,
resulting in the loss of function of the accessory keys
and a long shutdown/restart. The message is always that
type32.exe has stopped responding. I have re-installed
the keyboard software a number of times to no avail. I
have uninstalled the original Gateway keyboard software.

HELP!!!! this is driving me nuts!

Thanks
Brian
