Windows XP Home edition

If you can't upgrade to Windows XP Home ed, you may need to check with
Compaq as to a Pre-Installation Prep kit they provided just after the
release of Windows XP for their customers. Something to do with a incorrect
date / language setting as well as some other OEM config's that aren't the
regular sort of thing that Windows XP expects to upgrade.
