hello
i have laptop on which windows xp home edition is installed now i am facing this error message which do not allow me to process my lapi

Windows could not start because the following file is missing or corrupt
\windows\system32\config\syste
You can attempt to repair this file by starting windows original setup using the original setup CD-RO
select 'r' at the first screen to start repair.
tell me how can i get rid of this trouble .and i dont have the original cdrom of the lap

i tried this too ....but i could not find any satisfactory solution from any wher
please assist me what should i d

Call your computer manufacturer give them the key code for your machine and see if you can get the windows master cd from them, it should not cost much.
