Autocad 2000 is not supported by the company that wrote it, but some have
reported success.
Do a google search and check the autocad newsgroups on the usenet servers.

That link doesn't say that Autocad 2000 is not compatiable with XP. It
says that Acad 2004, Acad @002, AcadLT 2004, and AcadLT 2002 are
comnpatablie. I take this to simply mean that AutoDesk wrote and tested
those version for XP. But, Not the earlier versions.
I mention this because I use AutoCad 2000 on my XP machine without any
problems.
