Windows XP Home Edition Task Manager - shows only CPU info

Experts,

I have Windows XP Home Edition.
When I open the Task Manager, it opens a window with only
the following info :
CPU Usage
CPU Usage History

I cannot exit this window.
I cannot see any processes.

I searched in various resources on Web and havent been
able to find a solution for this problem.

Please help!
