Windows XP Home Edition networking

I have a dell Inspiron laptop that has a Broadcom 440x10/100 Integrated
Controller Network Interface Card. Whenever i try to connect to my workplace
LAN the laptop restarts or gives a blue screen and states that there was a
Unmountable boot volume error on my laptop. The laptops OS is XP Home edition
and the network DNS runs on WIndows 2003 Server - most of the computers on
the network run on Windows 2000 or Win XP professional.

Win XP Home can not join a Domain, you need Win200 or Win XP Pro.
