Windows XP home disappeared!

Help, I have just recovered from the latest bug, and tried
everything to get rid of it. I managed to go through
system recovery and my computer now had gone back to
factory settings. The real problem now is that when i try
to re-install word, it asks me for the code. i type the
one in that is attched to my computer, but it will not
allow it. i am now stuck without word! please help!

Call MS Support that it gives you on the install and tell them what
happened. They should issue you a new code. Happened on a laptop here at my
office and it took 5 minutes.

Hi Sarah,
If the code for Word is asked, then the code for Word should be given, not
the Windows code which is most probably the one that is on the computer's
sticker.

Do you also have a Word CD-ROM or a Works CD-ROM?
The code on one these might be more convenient.

Use the word product key located on the word cd case or wrapper or manual,
not the xp product key. Call your oem if you can't find it.

The code attached to the computer is the one for Windows XP. It's
not the one that Word needs. You need to find your Word code.
