Help
After crashing, and automatically performing a Chkdsk, my Fujitsu Siemens
Amilo note book will not start the installed windows XP home edition!

It is booting upp to the point where you can chose among starting window
normally or in safe mode. Selecting any of the options windows briefly
displays the blue screen text quoted below, before the computer reboots.

If I try to use the windows recover CD that came with the computer i get the
same blue screen, prior to get any options to reinstall or repair the
installation.

The blue screen suggest to use “chkdsk /f†to fix the problem, but I am not
able to boot to run this command. A boot disk made according to Q305595 only
gives the menu to start windows before it reboots at the blue screen.

Do you have any suggestions how the repair the problem, or at least install
windows again?

The blue screen reads (in Norweginan):
++++

sikkerhetskopiering. Kontroller konfigurasjonen av harddisken, og se etter
eventuelle oppdaterte drivere. Kjør CHKDSK /F for å se etter harddiskskader,
og start deretter datamaskinen på nytt.

Thats the problem with mfg installation of xp w/o the retail version,no
recovery,no booting to xp cd.At start up or reboot tap the F8 key, select,
safe-mode with networking, enter as ADM.Dont let the screen count down
for reboot, try pressing key to initialize it,or try diffrent variables
until one
trys to initialize.Youre computer is stuck in an "open-loop",even try at
shut-
down disconnecting the power, remove battery also, with electrical equit.
removing the power will often reset things.
