windows xp hangs while logging on to domain

Hi,

While some windows xp pc logging onto domain hangs over after entering
username and password if i unplugged the network cable it starts then i need
to have plug network cable afetr it restores desktop apply user seetings
etc.

and some times when you right clicked to a file or folder it stops
responding and when you unplugged the network cable it returns normal. Does
anybody know wahtis the reason ?

Make sure the XP client is configured to use the DNS server that contains
the AD records for the domain and NOT an ISP DNS server.

yes it configured true when i ping the name server with its name it can be
resolved but when i try to access files on it as

\\server\shared

it doesnt responds

which network services installed/checked in your network configuration and
be sure TCP/IP filtering is not enabled in advanced TCP/IP configuration.
