Windows XP hangs up

Hi,

I have an Dell Inspiron 8200 with Windows XP
Professional. Windows XP hangs up about 10 to 15 times a
day, with no error. Tried chkdsk. I tried running
sfc /scannow, runs to about 10% and freezes. When I run
Norton AntiVirus same thing, runs a few minutes and hangs
up.

Will appreciate any pointers.

I also have a new Dell Inspiron 8200 that was exhibiting the same freezing
problem you are experiencing. The problem lies with a defective GeForce video
adapter. Contact Dell Customer Care and they will send you a replacement.
