Windows XP GP not working

Windows XP is not working . I got all patches installed to
the date june 7-2004. same policy on the OU applyies fine
for W2K machines but not for WXP pro. Error on event log

this key to registry
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Mup\DisableDFS
according to Q314494 but no avail. Symptoms the same as article

Okay, my first question is- why is your system set to 2/8/2002? Or
did you copy this from the KB? If so, does your error look just like
this one?

Next question- on the DCs, are you seeing any replication errors?

Third, did you check the status of the DFS service to see if it is
running?

Fourth, did you check the permissions on the root drive?

Yes i copy the message from the KB since it is the same
error. I seee no replication errors on the DC. adn the
permision are also ok since i can dir \\domain\sysvol from
windows 2k systems but not from XP systems. Group managment
console gives me this error

Group policy infrastructure failed
network path was not found
