Okay, this may be a crazy question but I was wondering if Microsoft offers a
free version of windows xp for students?
Why? I was talking with a fellow student yesterday and he told me how he got
windows. Appearantly he had gone to his teacher asking about something and
had let it slip that he was buying windows. His teacher then said "whoa don't
do that. you're a student you can get it for free off the web as long as
you're a student." Which led me here. I didn't know where else to go, but the
sorce. Anyways, I am a student and will be buying a computer soon. the
commute to work on campus for assignments is killing me with the rise in gas
price. Thus, if I could save some money while I'm still a student... great!
If not, well sucks to be me I guess.
Thank you for your time
