WIndows xp failed to boot

My windows xp pro failed to boot. So I installed a new
hard drive and re-installed xp pro. Now how do I get my
data off the old drive and onto the new drive. When I go
into Documents and settings and attemp to open my folder
it states access denied, I am assuming this is an NTFS
permissions error. How do I over come this error?

Try downloading free NTFS reader from www.ntfs.com. I
think you have to buy the writer, but might be worth it.
