OK, here is the deal. I just bought WinXp. Of course
there are bazillions of things that the Windows Update
site tells me, that I have to install. Like the dutiful
MS slave that I am, I'm trying to get it all downloaded.

Problem.

In the installation history of the update site, it states
that I have several failed installs. For ex:
-VIA Technologies, Inc. multimedia software
-Creative Technology Ltd. multimedia software
-Advanced Micro Devices processor software

The problem is, although I can redownload the creative
drivers from MS... I'm not sure how to get the update
site, to let me re download the AMD and Via drivers.

I still have a full weekend ahead of me, downloading all
of the security updates for XP. ARGH. But it would be
nice to get these other updates too.

Thanks for the help.

Scott

You can chk the "personalize windows update" button, then chk the box,
"show update catalog",find hardware drivers/software for xp,go to hard-
ware section, download the drivers.Or go to mfg web site for more current
data.
