Windows Xp error "lsass.exe"

okay, iv been getting this error for about 2 months now, its incredibly
annoying ...and it happens randomly , not all the time, see what happens
it...

** i boot up my comp, it goes past the windows booting screen then the
screen goes black, then this error pops up and it says this



"lsass.exe-System Error

An invalid HANDLE was specified.



then after i click ok, it attempts to re-boot, sometimes it re-boots
sucsessfully yet sometimes it fails and gives me the error again...

is there any cure to fixing this error?..iv been gettin it for bout 2-3
months now, randomly..my system is up to date with all the securty updates
from microsoft, and im running a firewall... soo..please help~!!
