Windows XP - domian is missing

Hi,

In our Network we have a mix and match of Windows XP and Windows 2000 Prof
system which are joined to Domain Controller (Windows 2003 SP1). recently we
are facing a strange problem like some client PC gives an Login error Message
as "The System cannot log you to this domin because the systems computer
account in its primary domain is missing or the password on that account
incorrect."

But if we disjoin that computer from domain and rejoin to domain it works
fine, but after 2-3 weeks again it gives the same problem.

Please let me know why is this problem happening and how can we rectify this.

Vijesh Rajan

Hi, this would be better posted in an Active Directory or Server newsgroup -
I suggest you do so, and include other info such as event log errors, etc.,
to get the most help.
